St George's is delighted to announce that the College has been selected by England Hockey Super 6s Indoor Finals as the host venue for the 2027 national finals weekend.

The event, which takes place on 30-31 January 2027, will bring the very best men's and women's indoor hockey teams from across England to Weybridge to compete for national titles and qualification for European competition.

The finals represent the culmination of the country's premier indoor hockey competition and will see players, coaches, officials and supporters from across the hockey community descend on St George's for what promises to be an exciting weekend of elite sport.

The decision follows a consultation by England Hockey Super 6s Indoor Finals with participating clubs, which highlighted strong support for an indoor sports hall-based finals event and a venue in the South East.

Commenting on the announcement, Henry Warner, Headmaster of St George's College, said:

"We are delighted to be welcoming the England Hockey Super 6s Indoor Finals to St George's College. Hosting the country's premier indoor hockey competition reflects our longstanding commitment to sport and our passion for providing outstanding opportunities for young people to engage with and be inspired by elite performance.
"We look forward to welcoming players, coaches, officials and supporters from across the hockey community to St George's, and to working closely with England Hockey to deliver a memorable event."

The opportunity to host a major national sporting event reflects the quality of St George's sporting facilities and its reputation for excellence in sport. The event will also provide an inspiring opportunity for pupils to experience top-level indoor hockey first-hand and see some of the country's finest players in action.

Further information regarding tickets, schedules and spectator arrangements will be shared closer to the event.
