Triple sporting success for Junior School pupils

At the end of February, sports stars from St George's Junior School had unprecedented success in not one, not two, but three sports competitions.

U11A Boys' Hockey


On Tuesday 26 February, the U11A Boys’ Hockey team went to Haileybury College for the IAPS Regional Hockey tournament and were convincing winners scoring 23 goals and only conceding 1! The boys played with fluidity, confidence and flair throughout the day and qualified for the National Finals on 20 March.

U11A Girls' Hockey


On Wednesday 27 February, the U11A Girl’s Hockey team went to Reigate Grammar for the Surrey Hockey tournament and were undefeated playing some of the best hockey we have witnessed this year! They did not concede a single goal and scored 20 goals in total!

U11A Netball team


On Thursday 28 February, the U11A Netball team went to Cranleigh for the IAPS Regional Netball tournament and played some outstanding netball in order to qualify for the National Finals on 21 March. A total of 54 goals were scored with only 18 being conceded!

A massive congratulations to all our teams who were outstanding in their own respective sports.
