SVP group sing merry carols to residents at St Augustine's Care Home

With Christmas just round the corner, First to Third Year members of the SVP group at St George's College visited St Augustine's Care Home in December to deliver some festive cheer and sing some carols.

The children visit the residents once a week throughout each term and this week they decided to bring some festive cheer and sing to the residents to prepare them for Christmas. The elderly residents joined in with the songs and one or two even had a little dance with the students. As well as singing and dancing, the children sat and spoke with the residents to find out what they were getting up to for Christmas.

Everyone then enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and a biscuit before the students wished the residents a merry Christmas!
