Pupils victorious in Oratory Tournament

On Wednesday 17th September the U10 A and B teams from St George's Junior School, Weybridge, attended the highly competitive Oratory Rugby Tournament, which is in the beautiful countryside of Woodcote near Reading. It was a great day for all, with the B's gaining valuable tournament experience against quality opposition.

The A team performed outstandingly well, soundly beating the hosts and dominating their competition. Led by Captain William Springett, all 10 players showed exceptional commitment and discipline, sticking to game plan and dominating their opponents with quick rucking and free flowing play. Their victory culminated in a 50-0 win over St Benedict's to secure the trophy came back to St George's. The boys` behaviour and attitude was a credit to the School.
