Nursery say thank you to their mums in special Mother's Day service

Nursery children at St George's Junior School gave their mums an early Mother's Day treat on Friday 29 March as they performed a medley of uplifting songs to thank their mums for everything they do for them.

As excited (and tearful) parents watched on in the Junior School Chapel, the girls and boys in the Nursery enthusiastically performed a number of songs dedicated to their mums to say thank you for every little thing they do for the children. After a heartwarming rendition of 'Shalom' accompanied by Mr Hudson on guitar, the Zebras sang 'My Mum's One in a Million', the Giraffes sang 'Don't Forget to Tell Your Mum' and 'Life is a Wonderful Thing', and the Lions sang 'Mummy's Love is Very Wonderful', before everyone joined together to sing at the top of their voices 'Share the Light'.

As their parents wiped away the tears of joy, the children then presented their mothers with some bright and colourful daffodils to top off a truly wonderful morning.
