Christmas Book Fair - 'tis the season to be reading

As the festive season fast approaches, the children at St George's Junior School have been getting a head start on their Christmas wish lists by attending the Christmas Book Fair in the Junior School Library.

The Library has been transformed into a magical Christmas book shop, boasting a snowman, reindeer and Christmas tree (topped by Paddington the Bear) - all made out of books - with the girls and boys thrilled to have the chance to find an early Christmas present and explore the fabulous range of books on offer.

The Christmas Book Fair this year took place on Thursday 29 November and Friday 30 November, with plenty of children arriving to pick out a new book to read over the Christmas period.

A huge thanks to Usborne Books which sponsored the Fair again this year; it is always a wonderful event for all in attendance and a special treat for pupils in the festive season.
