Assisted Places

We recognise that a St George’s education is a significant financial commitment and therefore have an Assisted Places Scheme to help families who would otherwise be unable to afford our fees, either for any of their children or perhaps for some but not all. An important aspect of the Scheme therefore is that even if families are not eligible for assistance for their first child, they may be eligible for increasing levels of help for subsequent children. Please contact us to explore this further.

We offer fee remission of up to 100% for children at the Junior School from Year 3 (age 7+) and at the College at 11+, 13+ and 16+. Remission may include additional assistance with uniforms, school bus, compulsory school lunches, essential academic trips and exam fees.

Children undergo our normal entrance assessment and Assisted Place applicants are also subject to a full financial assessment to measure eligibility.

Please contact Admissions at: admissions@stgeorgesweybridge.com for non-standard entry applications or for any further information.

How to apply

We use Bursary Administration Ltd (BAL) for the financial assessment of Assisted Place applications. To view their website please visit www.schoolbursaryguide.com.

Parents will be expected to provide a full financial disclosure to BAL, who may pass these details onto us. BAL will also arrange a home visit as part of the assessment process.

If you wish to apply for the Scheme, please complete and return the overleaf. BAL will then provide a financial disclosure statement for your completion.

The deadline for applications is 31 October of the year prior to your child joining, i.e. 31 Oct 2018 for joining in Sep 2019.
