Nursery children take part in ‘Winter Olympics’

On Friday 5 February, girls and boys in the Nursery at St George’s Junior School, Weybridge enjoyed a morning of ‘Winter Olympics’.

This term the boys and girls have been learning about winter, so to bring the topic to a close they took to the lazy lawn and participated in a range of winter sport activities, including ski racing, ‘ice’ hockey, ice balloon bowling and even penguin walking!

For the ‘closing ceremony’, the children did a fantastic job at recreating the Olympic symbol of five rings of colours; a wonderful sight to behold from the balcony of The Ark.
