NEW Headmistress’ Lectures at St George’s College

St George's College would like to invite students, parents and staff to a brand new series of Headmistress' Lectures starting on Wednesday 26 April 2017 at 7pm.

The inaugural speaker will be Professor Carol Robinson FRS FMedSci. Professor Carol Robinson is the Lee Professor of Chemistry at Oxford, a Dame and a long time fellow of the Royal Society, who is leading ground breaking research into proteins and has set up a Bio-tech company to realise the commercial opportunities. The story of her rise from school girl to world respected chemistry expert is as arresting as it is impressive.

Speaking about the new lectures, Headmistress Mrs Rachel Owens says: “We are on a mission to encourage our girls and boys to aim high and become strong minded leaders.”

So, join us on Wednesday 26 April for the first of our new termly evening lectures at St George's College. This event is free to enter, there is no need to book and there will be refreshments available. We look forward to welcoming you to the College.
