Mathematicians get creative in 'ChristMATHS' Bauble Competition

Young mathematicians at St George's College were getting creative earlier this week (Tuesday 12 December), as they took part in the annual 'ChristMATHS' Bauble Competition.

Students were invited to use their imaginations and mathematics to create a Christmas maths bauble to decorate their Christmas trees with.

The mathematicians did not disappoint and came up with some truly creative and innovative 'ChristMATHS' baubles. 

After much deliberation from the Maths Department Staff, a winner and runner-up were announced. Congratulations to both students, who wowed the judges with their excellent baubles.

The winner was: Third Year student Abbie (student not pictured).

The runner-up was: First Year student Keelan (student not pictured).
