Junior School and College children come together to compete at National Catholic Athletics Championships

On Sunday 25 June, St George’s Junior School and St George's College joined forces and came together as one school to compete at the National Catholic Junior and Prep Schools' Athletics Championships at St Columba's College.

The event was contested by many local schools with St George’s being represented by the Under 12 and Under 14 girls and boys teams, which competed in a full range of running, jumping and throwing events.

It was a fantastic day of sports and a wonderful opportunity for the College children and Junior School children to integrate and mix with each other. St George's athletes performed brilliantly throughout the day and they can be extremely proud of their efforts.
