From September 2017, there will be a number of changes to Bus Routes going to and from St George's College. Below, we have provided links to our updated School Bus route map, as well as our interactive map on our VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) Firefly, as well as listing the key changes to each of the different coloured routes. Please take the time to read through the changes carefully, as they may affect the route your child will be travelling on.

KEY ROUTE CHANGES
Late Bus - NEW ROUTE
The new Black Route - Late Bus - will run every day during term-time and will be completely FREE for children subscribed to our Bus service, however, booking will be required and this service is subject to availability.
We may develop our Late Bus service in the future to cover additional areas; this will be dependent on the number of parental requests received.
The Orange Route will now divert through the M3/M25 to eliminate some of the traffic on Fordbridge Road. This route will start at 7:20am from Waldegrave Road in Teddington and will reach subsequent stops 10 minutes later.
In turn, the overall journey time will be reduced by around 20 minutes each way. If you live in Sunbury or Shepperton, please read notes on our new Purple Route below.
The new Purple Route will cover Sunbury and Shepperton, which were previously covered by our Orange Route. As well as this, the Purple Route will also be replacing Bus Stops 13 and 14 from our Orange Route for both mornings and afternoons.
ORANGE ROUTE - STOP 10 REPLACED
(Purple Route) Stop 2 - 7.37am/5.00pm - Three Fishes Pub, Green Street.
The capacity of our Red Route will be increased from 16 to 40 seats.
This will be a streamlined route which now covers Virginia Water Train Station.
NEW BUS STOPS ADDED ON RED ROUTE
Stop 7 - 07.50am/16.35pm - Virginia Water Post Office/Train Station Bus Stop.
Stop 8 – 07:53am/16:32pm - The Rose and Crown Pub, Sandhills Lane, B389.
The Silver Route will now cover Staines.
Journey time will be reduced by 5-10 minutes.
NEW BUS STOPS ADDED ON SILVER ROUTE
Stop 7 – 07.45am/ 16.43pm - Bupa Bus Stop, Chertsey Lane, Staines, A320.
Stop 8 – 07.55am/ 16.30pm - Tesco Chertsey Express - Eastworth Road Bus Stop.
We are pleased to inform you that our Blue Route will now avoid Seven Hills Road (which has frequent road works and traffic delays) and 2 new bus stops will be added on Brooklands Road.
NEW BUS STOPS ADDED
Stop 14 – 08.05am/ 16.35pm - Near Shell Garage, Brooklands Road, B374.
Stop 15 – 08.08am/ 16.30pm - Near Junction of Locke King Road and Brooklands Road, B374.
Our Lime Route will divert through Queens Road and cover Stops 14 and 15 from our Blue Route. Please note, the £1 stop will be covered by our Shuttle Bus from September 2017 onwards.
NEW BUS STOP ADDED
Stop 2 – 07.05am/ 17.13pm - Shell Petrol Station, Manor Road South.
Green Route will remain unchanged.
The route will start 5 minutes earlier.
Yellow Route will remain unchanged.
